all things
all things
lookie! a poet in the family.
here goes,
ALL THINGS
all things dull and ugly,
all things short and squat,
all things rude and nasty;
and god made the lot.
-anthony wong-
MY RECENT SCHOOL TRIP
we went to klcc,
where petroscience lies,
and some sort of sea;
which was very nice.
it was the best of trips,
and was very interesting,
we learned a lot tips;
and it was interesting.
On to Aquaria the so called Aquarium,
which was our last destination,
everything was pretty and handsome;
and also increses information.
there was no sunlight ray,
which mean it's indoor,
there was a creature called Manta Ray;
and it looked like it can soar.
the way back to the entrance,
took quite some time,
i also could sense;
that i would make this rhyme.

missing you, fei.
How do you say goodbye? How do you cope with sending someone off at the airport, then coming back home to a quiet house? How do you fight the silence? The forced conversations, the empty laughter, the lonely musing, the stalking memory.
How do you say goodbye to yesterday?

time seems to stop
it has been long since someone posted. seems like just yesterday we were excited and active, posting every little happenings in our life in this blog. but i dont blame us for being.. haha.. lazy people. now that boy and mei are back in school and im starting college, it seems like we are stepping back into the world before december. after my SPM, i felt as if time stopped for the busyness and i stepped out of it to enjoy the whole of december. but now, things seem to fall back into reality, seem to move again. so here i am, a brand new start with a brand new year, let's hope this year will be as fulfilling as the rest. then again, i have you guys, so that's enough right? a party of our own.

the manly beach.
ive been quite obsessed with the beach for the past month. or so it seems. haha.
the day before yesterday morning, me and ww wanted to get some pies from the city. there's this famous pie place that you can find in the middle of nowhere in the city that 'opens till late'. .. just that we didnt know what 'late' meant. see, back in kl, we never had to worry about what 'late' meant. well anyways, we reached there at 3.40 the morn, to find that it was closed. hah. i think they closed at 3.30 cause i saw people in their uniforms coming out a little later. sooooo.. we drove back home, disappointed and hungry from all the anticipation. and we dug out some leftovers, and brought out the cakes that we brought home from work. at 4.30, the sun was already rising. by 5.20, it was like 8 am in KL.beautiful. i love how the day seems soooo long here at this time of the year. thats provided i wake up to enjoy and use every minute of it to its full advantage. at 5.40, we joked about going for a jog at the beach. at 6, we were serious and off we went.
i didnt take a camera that morning. but it was a good workout all in all. my stamina was so bad, i swore i couldnt have lifted my leg should a tsunami hit the beach then. anyways, we only did 3/4 of manly beach, plus sit ups. went back home before 12pm struck and both of us were drowsy with the sleep we didnt get.
anyways, went to work yesterday, and after work, me and ww had tea with zhenrong. and we were both telling zhenrong about our day at the beach. and being me, i challenged them, though more towards myself, to go for another run in the morning. took a while for the seriousness to set it, and when it eventually did, we went home quickly to 'get a good night of sleep'. heh.
i came back, showered, and stayed online till 5.30 in the morn (see dad, i told you we couldve talked on the phone). ww probably stayed online with me till 5. and well.. zhenrong wasnt any much better - i think he only got 1 extra hour of sleep compared to us.
he came at 8.30 and off we went. again. and this time, i held my camera close to me as i packed, as lightly as i could, for another productive day at the beach.
it was better this time. we ran almost all of manly, climbed some rocks, swam and did situps. my stamina was much better too - i only really sat down to rest once whereas the other day, i had to do it five times, even with the shorter distance. the water was freezing, but i guess we awarded ourselves with fish and chips for lunch, as zhenrong puts it. it was fun and spontaneous, and thats just the way i like things in my life. spontaneous. what made it good, too, was how zhenrong was letting go a little, since he's mostly uptight about stuff. usually, when he says no, he would NOT do it. but we managed to get him to do most of the things he didnt want to do today. :) i like seeing people letting go. live a little. have some fun.
all in all, a good day. here are some pictures :D

i heart spring
spring's here and im loving it. everything in sydney seems much nicer. the city's buzzing and beautiful. ive been keeping myself busy with stuff to do. escaping. most of the time, i wish i was back home. home just feels so comfortable and safe. but in those interims, i find myself not minding being in sydney. im beginning to get used to it. to sydney. im beginning to let loose and enjoy what's around me. it's about time. i only have one more semester anyway.
im just so glad, and extremely grateful, to my friends who's helped me thru, who's come to sydney and made it comfortable for me to stay. it seems like ive found my pattern now, and all's good again. almost. :)
